We primarily use Wix, a user-friendly and versatile website builder. This allows us to create visually appealing and functional websites efficiently.

Wix provides a powerful platform, but there are certain rules and limitations set by Wix that we cannot override. These include restrictions on third-party integrations, code customization beyond Wix Code capabilities, and certain design elements. We work within these constraints to ensure the stability and functionality of your website.

While we strive to accommodate your needs, we are limited by the features and functionalities provided by Wix. If your request falls outside these boundaries, we will discuss alternative solutions to meet your objectives effectively.

We encourage open communication and value your feedback. You can provide input through email, scheduled meetings, or our project management tool. Clear communication helps us understand your vision and make adjustments accordingly.

Our process typically involves an initial consultation, followed by a design phase where we present concepts for your feedback. Once the design is approved, we move to the development phase. Regular updates and feedback sessions ensure that the final product aligns with your vision.

The timeline varies based on the complexity of the project. A typical website design and development process can take several weeks. We provide a detailed project timeline during the initial consultation.

Our payment structure is outlined in the project proposal. Typically, a percentage is due upfront, followed by milestone payments as we progress through the design and development stages. The final payment is expected upon project completion.

We offer a post-launch support period for minor adjustments. However, significant changes may incur additional charges. We recommend discussing any post-launch modifications during the project development phase.

We appreciate open and respectful communication. Timely feedback and the provision of necessary materials (such as content, images, and branding guidelines) are crucial for the smooth progress of the project.

Cancelling a Project

Payment for Incomplete Projects

If a project cannot be completed, payments will be reconciled based on the work completed and expenses incurred. Both parties agree to a fair resolution in such cases.

Pricing Estimates & Adjustments

All pricing is estimated based on the known scope at the time of agreement. If the scope changes significantly, a revised quote will be issued and must be approved before continuing.

Resolving Disputes

In the unlikely case of a dispute, both parties agree to resolve the issue through open dialogue and mutual respect. If necessary, mediation or alternative dispute resolution may be considered before legal action.

Communication Channels

Email is the primary channel for formal project communication. Informal conversations (via Meets, Zoom or similar apps) are welcomed but not considered official unless summarized by email.

Response Time & Availability

We aim to respond within 1–2 business days. Requests for same-day or after-hours support may be subject to a priority/VIP fee if not prearranged.

Client Responsibilities

To maintain project momentum, clients agree to provide content, approvals, and access credentials in a timely manner. Delays in client response may result in adjusted timelines or rescheduling of the project queue.

Revisions Policy

Each project includes a set number of revision rounds, typically two unless otherwise stated. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

Addressing Technical Issues Post-Launch

A post-launch support period is included to fix technical issues or bugs related to our work. After this period, ongoing changes or fixes may be billed separately depending on scope.

Adapting to Changes in Wix’s Platform

We monitor Wix platform updates. If significant changes impact your site’s performance or features, we will work with you to implement reasonable and relevant solutions.

Tool & Platform Limitations

While we specialize in Wix Studio and use custom features where appropriate, all work is subject to the technical limitations of the platform. Where needed, third-party solutions or workarounds may be proposed.

Protecting Client Data

All sensitive client information (e.g., credentials or proprietary content) is handled securely and used only for the duration and scope of the project. We take your privacy seriously and will not share your information without consent.

Intellectual Property Rights

Once the project is completed and fully paid, intellectual property rights to the website design will be transferred to you. Third-party assets, fonts, plugins, or tools remain subject to their original licensing terms.

Deliverables & File Handling

Final deliverables (such as website content, designs, or assets) are provided upon full payment. Editable design files (e.g., Figma, Wix Studio structures, or code snippets) are not included unless explicitly agreed upon and may involve additional fees.

Use of Client-Created Visual or Written Material

Any visuals, illustrations, writings, or artistic content you provide remain your intellectual property unless otherwise licensed or transferred by formal agreement. Initium Designs will never claim ownership or reuse your original content in other client work or internal marketing without explicit written permission.

Respecting Artist & Creator Content

We understand the unique concerns creatives face today. If you're an artist, illustrator, or designer sharing original work with us, you can rest assured that your content will never be shared, reused, or referenced beyond its intended use for the project. Your files remain yours, we simply treat them with the confidentiality and respect they deserve.

Showcasing the Project

From time to time, we may highlight completed projects in our portfolio, on our website, or through social media. This includes visuals or screenshots of your website and may feature your logo, layout, or artistic content strictly for the purpose of presenting the website as a whole, not to imply ownership over your content.
